Visor Hat

So I decided to try a knitting experiment. First I knitted this weird looking thingy out of a chunky wool blend yarn (believe it or not, it's a hat):

Then I cut this weird looking thingy out of plastic canvas:



I folded the bottom of the hat in half and Mom helped me sew the plastic canvas inside. And this is what I got: a hat with a visor!!
